Terms of Service
Last updated: July 13, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of apicvm (apicvm.dev), including the website, customer portal, and HTTP API. By creating an account, subscribing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
2. The service
apicvm provides programmatic access to Brazilian CVM regulatory filings and related metadata, including company resolution, document listing, original file download, and asynchronous page-level text extraction delivered via callbacks.
The service is intended for developers, data pipelines, and AI agents. apicvm does not provide investment advice, financial recommendations, or guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of regulatory data sourced from third parties.
3. Accounts and API keys
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity performed with your account and API keys.
- Do not share API keys in public repositories, client-side code, or logs.
- Revoke compromised keys promptly from your dashboard.
- We may suspend access if we detect abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
4. Subscription and billing
API access requires an active paid subscription, currently billed at $9 USD per month through Stripe. Prices may change for new subscriptions with reasonable notice on the website.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the billing portal. Refunds are handled according to Stripe and applicable law. Failed payments may suspend API access until the subscription is restored.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited behavior includes:
- Attempting to bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls.
- Using callback URLs to probe internal networks or third-party systems (SSRF).
- Scraping or reselling the service in a way that materially degrades availability for others.
- Uploading malware, unlawful content, or using the API for illegal activity.
We apply per-API-key rate limits and may throttle or block traffic that threatens service stability.
6. Regulatory data
CVM filings and related documents are public regulatory information. apicvm indexes and serves data already published by Brazilian regulators and other sources. We do not warrant that every filing is current, complete, or error-free.
7. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical. The API is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Planned maintenance or upstream outages may affect availability.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or create security risk. Upon termination, your right to use the API ends and outstanding fees remain payable.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, apicvm and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
